The lagoon capital. El Nido is where the Philippines’ most photographed scenery lives: limestone towers rising out of Bacuit Bay, hidden lagoons, and the boat tours that thread between them — the Big and Secret Lagoons are the classic first-day play. Beyond the bay there’s Nacpan, the four-kilometer beach that empties the day-trip crowds, and Corong Corong’s sunsets.
